Tom Lindsay is the Country Programme Manager for the Coalition for Urban Transitions. He is responsible for overseeing and supporting ongoing coordination and implementation of the Coalition’s overall country programme in China, Ghana, Mexico and Tanzania. The country programme brings together local organisations with national governments to develop evidence-based ideas and new collaborative approaches to address the most important challenges facing cities.
Before joining the Coalition, Tom was the London-based Senior Strategy Delivery Manager at 100 Resilient Cities, pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation. He was part of the team responsible for supporting the delivery of city resilience strategies, developing tools and internal services and project definition and delivery.
Tom has a background in architecture and urban design, obtaining his Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge in the subject while focussing on the growing connection between pandemics, global cities and their urban environment.
