This provides an invaluable guide for ministries of housing, transport and land use seeking to boost the economic power of cities and create vibrant, green neighbourhoods where people want to live.

The team published a series of pioneering working papers on housing and transport policy. They also worked with national governments in Ethiopia, China and Mexico to appraise national policy options to secure the economic and social benefits of compact, connected cities.
